Prologue

Faelin looked about the small hollow cactus. It was a owl's home that he had kindly spared for the group.

"Hmm.... this is rather small for us, isn't it?" Ventar asked. He wasn't getting space to fly about and had to stay in a corner.

"At least it's there," Twister said, shortly. "We wouldn't want to lie on the hot sun."

"I would," said Rock, rolling on the sand. Although he was born in the Himalayas, he was a normal wolf and could adjust to the hot climate.

"It was so sudden that we reached here, right?" asked Glacier, thoughtfully. "I wonder how~"

P.S. Short prologue huh? T^T Tired!!

Epilogue

Faelin, Rock, Twister, Ventar and the rest travelled again, breaking up into different teams now and then. At last, Faelin and her broken-up team reached a nearby desert. She stared around in mild surprise and pleasure.

"Look, Rock! A-a des- umm."

"Desert, you mean," said Rock, looking around.

"Alright, Mister Smartypants," Faelin retorted, annoyed. "Twister, Ventar, what do you make of this?"

"I'd always wanted to visit a desert," remarked Twister, thoughtfully.

"Me too!" said Ventar. "They're cool! And at last, we're here!"

"We too!!" came dozen voices. The other teams reached too.

"Oh, hallo, guys!" said Faelin, surprised again. "What about we stay here for some time? I suppose we can find food and water all right."

"Who are you lot?" came an unfamiliar voice. A male camel came up. "What are strangers doing here?"

"Oh, come on, Thorn, don't be too hard on them," came a female voice as a gecko came. "They might not be trespassers; just travellers perhaps. Are you?" She turned to Faelin.

"Yes, we're travellers," said Faelin. "Would you please give us some shelter around here?"

"Oh, I guess we can manage...", said the gecko. "with these many people," she added under her breath.

"Who's that, Sandra?" asked a python, gliding up.

"We're travellers," repeated Faelin.

"Can we give them some shelter, Breeze?" asked Sandra, hopefully.

"Hmm..." Breeze thought for a while. "Okay. Follow me." She nodded to the others and they followed.

And from this, I temporarily end this story, for even the characters Faelin and Rock and all the others need some rest! So, bye, and see you in the next Prologue.

Chapter: 21 Splitting Up!

Everyone were thrilled to go to a new place. They soon landed in  place. It was a clearing in a forest. Rock's and Faelin's ice soon melted but they were okay.

"Here we are," announced Faelin, climbing out.

"What's here?" Rock said, confused.

"Just a new place." Faelin unpacked her leaf bag and looked at her map. "Hmm... We're at the Shadow Forests. Pretty nice name."

"Nice name, indeed," grumbled Rock.

Suddenly they heard rustling of leaves. Rock reached for his knife in case of an danger. A tiger's head peeped in through some bushes.

"Oh, I'm so hungry, I need beef," it said to itself. The group looked at it.

"Hi," the tiger said and he came out, revealing himself as a normal tiger with grey ears and black belly. "I'm Spyro. Who're you?"

"I'm Faelin and these are my friends. We're just on a journey, you know,"  Faelin introduced.

"I see," Spyro said. "What kind of journey do you mean?"

"Just an adventure," Faelin smiled.

Suddenly they all heard voices. "Spyro, where are you?"

"I have to go. My friends will be worried," Spyro said, hastily.

Suddenly, three animals came out. They were an arctic wolf, a husky and a falcon.

"Oh, there you are," said the falcon.

"Who're all these?" asked the arctic wolf.

"These are some animals who're travelling, they say," said Spyro.

"Nice to meet you," said the husky. "I'm Vine."

"I'm Daeje," said the arctic wolf.

"And I'm Fireball," said the falcon.

"I'm Faelin," replied Faelin, cheerfully. "Care to join us?"

"Of course!" said Vine. "We're quite bored here." She looked at the hot-air balloon. "Wow, what' that? Is that how you came here?"

"Yup," said Rock.

Faelin explained the four animals about their teams and told everyone that they should split up again. Vine was in the Snowy Hill Team, Spyro an Fireball in the Snow Moon Team and Daeje in the Pine Tree Team.

"Alright, let's split up! Everyone should find some way to go to different places! Unfortunately, the Snowy Hill Team has the balloon." said Faelin. No one minded not being in the baloon as they were going to look for adventures!!!!!!!

Chapter: 20 Heading Somewhere We Don't Even Know!

Kendra, Snowy and Dawn helped in making the hot-air balloon. They all had lots of fun in tying ropes and all. But at last, it was done. There it stood, gleaming orange and brown with large lettering "Reese's".

Faelin stood back to see better. The basket was the color of peanut butter and chocolate inside. Everyone was proud of their work, especially Tiggerkat. "Thanks alot, Tiggerkat for this. We might be able to travel real far!" said Faelin.

Tiggerkat beamed. "I thought it would be of no use and was going to sell it for a couple of more reese cups. Faelin laughed. "Thank goodness you didn't!"

They all clambered in and Faelin was about to light the burner when Rock said, "Wait!"

"Huh?

Rock went out and after a long time came carrying a meta box full of ice with difficulty.

"What's that for?" asked the others.

"Faelin and I need it. We're not used to hot places. I only hope it won't melt too soon."

Faelin lit the burner and they all rose in the balloon above in the sky. Faelin looked all around.

"This is exciting! I've a feeling that we're going to start some new adventure!!"

Chapter: 19 New Friends!

Faelin and the others turned back. They saw a white fox with grey paws and ears. She smiled at them.

"Sorry if this is your place," Faelin said. "We just came here to rest for a bit."

"It's okay-" the fox started and turned back as another voice came up. "Hey Snowy, who's that?"

"It's just some animals who came to rest here," Snowy called back. A white tiger and a grey fox appeared.

"I'm Snowy, this is Kendra," the fox pointed to the tiger. "And Dawn," she added, nodding towards the fox.

"I see," said Faelin. She introduced the others [it's much too long a list to type!!] and explained why they were there.

"An adventuring club!" said Kendra, excitedly. "Dawn, Snowy it's an adventuring club! I wish I could join you!" She turned to Faelin.

"You could, you know," said Faelin. "We're going to make a hot-air balloon, so you could join us, if you want!"

"Oh yay!" said Snowy. "What fun!"

Chapter: 18 A Bit Of Discussing!!

They all sat down in a clearing in the middle of the forest and had food. "My precious precious Reese cups!!!" cried Tiggerkat. She almost ate them all but she thought of the others too, and kindly distributed them equally to everyone. The others, too, had either hunted or bought food.

"Wait a second, how did you get free hot-air balloon with your Reese cups?" asked Faelin to Tiggerkat.

"Oh, that," said Tiggerkat, eating her Reese cups. "Well, at first, I didn't understand it. Then I remembered that I'd entered a Reese Cup Eating contest and I had won first prize. So the prize is this."

"I see," said Faelin. "What I thought of was that if you'd be kind enough to share that hot-air balloon, we could go somewhere in it."

"Oh, I don't really need it cause I'm scared of heights so I'm not using it. If everyone's coming, can we fly low?" asked Tiggerkat hopefully.

"How can we do that?" asked Donatello, impatiently. "Let's finish fast and start making the hot-air balloon! I can't wait!!"

"Hey, what are you doing here?" came a voice.

Chapter: 17 An Idea!

They separated again and went on. Until they met together at a place. The place where people lived. Tiggerkat gave a sigh of relief. "Now I think I can buy reese cups!" she said. "I've got the money."
"Everyone, you should go and search for food, whatever it is," said Faelin. "We'll all share."
So off they all went, Faelin too. Donatello and Tiggerkat went to the markets and bought Reese cups and other things. Faelin went to a nearby forest, Moonlight and Bianca to another area and everyone else.
They all returned with food. Tiggerkat came at the last moment, beaming. "Sorry for being late,"" she panted. "Guess what? I bought two cartons of lareg reese cups and there are hot air balloons with them, with the instuctions!!"

"What are hot-air balloons?" asked Faelin, sometimes being very stupid about these kinds of things.
"Well, it's a thing with a basket that you could climb on, with a rubber balloon and hot air blowing in to make it float," explained Donatello. Faelin froze. "You ok?" said Rock. Faelin shook her head.

So thats what was shown in the dream, she thought.

"I need it," she said, suddenly. "F- For everyone of us."

"Ok," said Tiggerkat, doubtfully.

Chapter: 16 A Strange Dream!

Bianca and Moonlight said they will be joining the Snow Moon Team. So Faelin and the others bid them goodbye and they went.

After walking for a long time, Faelin and all the others were feeling tired. "What about we go to rest?" she asked.
"B- but where?" asked Tiggerkat, shivering and almost in tears. "It's freezing here and I haven't eaten Reese cups for about an year, I should think."
Faelin looked confused. "But... an year haven't passed yet," she said, doubtfully. Donatello laughed. "It's always like that for Tiggerkat. An hour seems to be a month for her without Reese cups!"
Faelin was also freezing though huskies usually didn't feel cold. She quickly changed the topic. "Let's go and try to get some sleep by that thick bush." she said. So they all went and squashed beside the thick bush and managed to get some sleep.

Faelin was packing their things. Donatello and Tiggerkat had told them how wonderful America was and they all were planning to go there. They stuff all their things into a large basket connected to a rubber thing with a hole which fire was filled with. They all got onto it and the thing floated away. They came to a distant country, beautifully decorated with plants and flowers. there were also busy streets and many people there.

"Wake up!" yelled Rock, shaking Faelin hard.

"Oh no," mumbling Faelin, very softly. "It was all a dream..."

"You had been sleeping for hours! Sleepyhead!" said Rock, laughing.

"No, I'm not!!" said Faelin and got up.

I still don't know what that dream means... she thought. And what is that thing? I wonder.

Chapter: 15 New Members!

The teams were all confused and Faelin decided the best thing to do was to rest for a while and decide what to do next. They saw a ferret sleeping on the snow. He suddenly woke up. "Who're you?" asked Faelin, doubtfully.
"Isn't that what I should ask you?" asked the ferret. "Anyway, I'm Moonlight."
Faelin introduced themselves. "Wow, they are a lot of you. Can I and my friend, Bianca join you?"
Yay, more and more members to this group! thought Faelin, joyously and said: "Of course, but where's Bianca?"

"Here she comes," said the ferret as a border collie came. She smiled. "Thanks for letting us join," she said.

"Of course, and thanks for joining!" said Faelin. Bianca laughed. "Well, what are you guys up to?"

Chapter: 14 Tiggerkat!!!

The Snowy Hill Team was walking when Faelin sensed something. "Oh," she groaned. "It's summer and the sunshine's beginning to melt the snow!" But  voice behind her surprised everyone. "Hey, we got here again!" "And us!" Two voices yelled. Faelin turned back. The other teams were there. "Hey, you guys its summer and I can't bear without winter! Anyway, I've never felt heat as in Himalayas it's always cold!" she sighed. Donatello was a husky too but he had traveled to many places and he was alright. Suddenly they reached a frozen pond. Before she knew it, Tiggerkat bounced over it. Most unfortunately, it was thin ice and she sank into the freezing water. Donatello saved her most luckily. She coughed as she sat on the ice. Faelin opened her backpack and took out her spare jacket. She wrapped it around Tiggerkat, who was shivering.

Author's Note: I had decided that Tiggerkat'll die, but I think I'll give her a chance!

Chapter: 13 Another member...

"Well, I'll have to ask Faelin," said Glacier.

"Who's Faelin?"

"Well, she's the leader, at least she had decided what to do and told us where to go," said Glacier.

"Alright," said Stormfur. "I'm looking forward to meet her."

So they decided to go to Faelin. Faelin was also a bit suspicious. "Well, alright and you can take in strangers but be sure of them."

The foxes went on.

Chapter: 12 In The Glacier Team...

In The Glacier Team...

Glacier was walking alone, thinking. Well, isn't there anyone to join me? I mean,  must not be the only one in this team. When suddenly, a dark grey fox jumped out from some bushes. Glacier leapt back. "Who are you?" asked the fox, angrily. "And what are you doing in my territory?". The two glared at each other. "I challenge you to a fight and if you win, I'll let you go or else..." The fox opened her paws, revealing sharp claws. "Do you accept?"

Glacier bared her jaws. The two animals flew at each other, biting and clawing, trying to get the other off. But unfortunately for the fox, she was bad at her claws and when glacier got her chance, she sunk her powerful jaws at the scruff of the fox's neck. The fox tried to turn around but couldn't. At last, she gave up and sat down as Glacier released her jaws.

"You win," said the fox. "What are you doing here?"

"I'm adventuring," replied Glacier, still a bit suspicious. "I'm the only one in this team. There are other animals in other teams, too."

"Can I join you?" asked the fox. "By the way, my name's Stormfur."

Chapter: 11 Xena!

Xena smiled. " came in search of you," she said to Twister. "What are you guys doing?"

"We're adventuring," said Twister, smiling slightly. "Wanna join us? You can be in the Pine Tree or Glacier Team. Or The Snowmoon!"

"I'd love to join the Pine Tree Team if you won't mind," said Xena.

"There's a fox in the team, so you can go to the direction of the Pine Trees and you'll find him," said Faelin. "His name is Lantern and tell him that you're the new member."

"Alright," said Xena and flew off.
